Under Milk WoodCaptain Cat's Ghosts

by Dylan Thomas
directed by Paul S. Holmquist
August 27-September 27, 2009
at the Storefront Theater, 66 E Randolph
produced in association with the Department of Cultural Affairs

From where you are, you can hear their dreams....

Dylan Thomas' iconic and poetic Under Milk Wood has been a favorite since its first broadcast as a radio play in 1954.  A graceful and beautiful conjuration of a small fictional Welsh seaside town, brought to us first in the dreams of its inhabitants, then as a day in the life of those dreamers, endears us to humanity's tragic, bawdy, sensuous and magnificent possibilities.
