Jason Beck
Jason is in his fourteenth year at The Theatre School at DePaul University where he is the Director of Admissions. He coordinates the school’s recruitment efforts and manages the application, audition and interview process for the fifteen training programs. Previous to his current position, Jason served as the school’s Operations Manager and is a graduate of the BFA Acting Program. At The Theatre Schoo, Jason has directed Coronado, The Love Song Of J. Robert Oppenheimer, The Distance from Here, Shake Your Groove Thing and The Lights.
In addition, Jason is a freelance actor, director, photographer and graphic designer. For Caffeine Theatre, he produced and asstant directed Under Milk Wood, produced Many Loves, and appeared onstage in Translations and The Cocktail Party. For three years, he served as an Artistic Associate at Young Actors Ensemble where he directed The Fantasticks, Merely Playing and Into The Woods and taught a course on Acting Shakespeare
